DINUBA, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — Police are investigating an attempted murder-suicide in Dinuba.
It happened just after 9 pm Tuesday at a home on Gardenia and Primrose Avenues.
Police say a 26-year-old man was holding a gun to a 28-year-old woman’s head at the location.
They say the woman soon left the home and collapsed in the street with two gunshot wounds to the chest.
She told officers there was a man inside the residence with a gun.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and into surgery. She was listed in critical condition.
After setting up a perimeter around the home, police used a drone to see who or what was happening inside the home.
They soon found the man with a single gunshot wound to the chest and a gun next to him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dinuba Police Department is investigating the incident.
This comes just two weeks after a different murder-suicide investigation in Dinuba.
