FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — The bodies of two men have been recovered after their boat was found out of control at Millerton Lake Friday morning.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says the boat was spotted driving in fast circles around 10 a.m. on the lake.
Officials add that the boat appeared to be empty.
The two men were pulled from the water by a group on another boat and taken to shore.
But both men believed to be in their 80s were pronounced dead at the lake.
Investigators say it’s unclear how the men ended up in the water.
The cause of death for both men is still under investigation.
