FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A deadly fire in Fresno County early Monday morning is now being investigated as “questionable.”
The flames broke out behind a home on Quince near Ontario in Caruthers around 5 am.
Officials say the fire started in a travel trailer and spread to a nearby shed.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and a man was rushed to the hospital with burn injuries.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says new information regarding the cause of the fire now makes the death and injuries questionable.
The name of the woman killed has not been released.
