FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A student is arrested Wednesday at Edison High School after a firearm was found in his possession. Edison High School administrators say the discovery followed a report that a student had a weapon on campus and had threatened another student. Officials and the school resource officer brought the student to the front office. He initially denied having any prohibited items, however, a subsequent search revealed the student had a firearm. It was immediately confiscated, and the student was arrested. Principal Jose Munoz says parents must understand the serious implications of having a gun in a school setting. |
