Porterville Man Arrested For Child Porn After Cybertip

PORTERVILLE, CA – Porterville man arrested for child porn after CyberTip.

Porterville Police Detectives received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informing them of a Porterville resident who had uploaded a media file containing child pornography.

Through their investigation, detectives obtained evidence identifying 34-year-old, Marty Joe Clayton Lester as the person uploading and downloading child pornography.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7:15 AM, Porterville Police Detectives, along with members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, responded to Lester’s residence, in the 800 block of South Crystal Street, and served the search warrant.

They collected a variety of electronic devices as evidence for further forensic analysis.

Lester was arrested for Distribution of Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, and Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

He was booked at the Tulare County South County Detention Facility, where he is being held without bail.
