Fresno, CA (KMJ) – Detectives and family members of Angel Zuniga, shot to death at a party two years ago, are working to find his killer.
On Tuesday, they will join Fresno County Sheriff John Zanoni and homicide detectives to speak about the cold case, and their efforts to generate new leads
Angel Zuniga would have turned 21 years old last week, but he died two years ago, shot to death in the early hours on October 29th, 2022.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says a 911 call came in about gunfire at a large Halloween costume party.
About 200 guests were at the home on the 8000 block of E. Hedges Ave. when a disturbance broke out after 1:30 in the morning.
Gunfire struck 19-year-old Angel Zuniga, who died at the scene.
The majority of the partygoers quickly left the home.
Deputies arrived on scene and detained the remaining party guests for questioning. No arrests have been made.
A press conference will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 3:30 pm at the FSO Area 2 Substation at 1129 N. Armstrong Ave. in Fresno.
