FRESNO, CA (KMJ) Gov. Gavin Newsom stood high upon the Golden Gate Bridge this week to tout “record-breaking” tourism dollars flowing back into California.
However, not everyone is buying this claim.
California Senate Republican Leader Brian Jones issued the following statement to Fox News Digital: “Newsom touts a record-breaking $150.4 Billion in tourism spending in 2023, supposedly surpassing the pre-pandemic figure of $144.9 billion in 2019. However, when adjusted for inflation, tourism spending would have to be a staggering $173 Billion”…
