COALINGA, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — California’s best high school mascot is now hoping to be the best in the nation.
The Horned Toads of Coalinga earned a number-one seed after winning last year’s state title.
The public can vote on their favorite name in a contest hosted by SB Live Sports.
The Horned Toads have reached the final four against the nation’s top mascots, and are currently up against the 3-seeded Chanticleers of Ord, Nebraska.
