Madera Police Arrest 2 Men For Stealing Fuel from Gas Station

MADERA, CA (KMJ) – Madera Police arrested two men for stealing fuel from a gas station on Monday morning.

The Madera Police department posted the story on their Facebook page.

At around 4:00 A.M., Officer Amezola contacted two men, Cesar Perez and Oscar Machado in the 1300 block of S. Gateway Dr. at a local fuel station.

Police said they were pumping diesel fuel into large plastic containers that were loaded into the back of a box truck.

It was discovered during the investigation the two subjects had fraudulently accessed the fuel pumps and obtained over a $1,000 dollars worth of fuel for free.

Both suspects were arrested for various fraud and theft charges and booked into Madera County Jail.
