If passed, Measure E would add a penny tax on $4 purchases in Fresno County for the next 25 years.

Estimates pin the total at about $63 million a year – which would be spent on improvements to the Fresno State campus.

Some well-known conservatives like Jim Patterson and Victor Davis Hanson backed the tax hike.

Voters rejected a similar Measure E in 2022.
