Tulare Child Molester Gets Life Sentence

TULARE, CA (KMJ) Convicted child predator Octavio Larios has been sentenced to life in prison.

The 42 year old Tulare man had pleaded no contest to molesting a child 10 years old or younger and one count of forcible lewd act upon a child under the age of fourteen.

Each count is a felony and considered strike offenses.

According to prosecutors, the crimes occurred between July 21, 2016, and July 20, 2020, against a female victim who was between ten and fourteen years old at the time of the sexual assaults.

Per current California sentencing laws, Larios must serve 25 years before being considered for parole.
