FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Big Fresno Fair will hold its 12th Annual Job Fair on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Department Supervisors will be accepting applications to fill nearly 400 positions supporting the operations of the 2023 Big Fresno Fair.
Available positions include, but are not limited to: parking and admission ticket sellers, ticket takers, parking attendants, customer service representatives, janitorial staff, maintenance staff, horse racing staff, security guards, concessions staff, museum docents and more. Volunteer opportunities are also available.
The Fair is looking to fill all of these positions directly from those attending the Job Fair.
Fair Management and Department Supervisors are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a high level of customer service who want to be part of the Central Valley’s largest annual event, and the 4th largest fair in the state!
Applications will be available to fill out on-site, but candidates should download one ahead of time at www.fresnofair.com/employment, then fill it out and make copies prior to attending the Job Fair. Copy machines will also be available on-site on the day of the job fair. Interested applicants must also bring their photo ID. Professional, business casual attire is strongly encouraged.
WHEN: Thursday, August 24 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Commerce Building, Fresno Fairgrounds 1121 S. Chance Ave., Fresno, CA 93702. Free parking available in the Chance Avenue lot.
The annual Job Fair, which began in 2011, showcases the employment opportunity the annual Fair provides.
Fair Management is expecting a large turnout of people wanting to work at the 2023 Big Fresno Fair, which runs October 4 – 15.
