
MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ) — Merced County residents that have been impacted by the recent winter storms can now receive some help with their FEMA applications.
A Disaster Recovery Center has opened with the goal to help residents learn about the various programs available as they confront the damage left to their homes or property.
Specialists are available to meet with families to discuss rental assistance and help process required documents.
The center is located at:
Merced County Fairgrounds, Yosemite Building
900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Merced, CA 95341
Hours of operation: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
Residents who cannot visit the center in person, can go online at DisasterAssistance.gov or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
