(KMJ) – The 13th Annual Holiday Heroes Blood Drive is underway in Clovis.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Central California Blood Center to help donors give the gift of life.
The blood drive runs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day at the Clovis Rodeo Hall, located at 748 Rodeo Drive until Friday, December 13,
All donors receive a Fresno County Sheriff’s Heroes T-shirt and a $5 off voucher for a food from a Fresno Street Eats food truck.
Different food trucks will be stationed at the drive each day.
- Monday, 12/13: Tacos El Mandilon
- Tuesday, 12/14: Comfy
- Wednesday, 12/15: Union Jacks Pasty Shack
- Thursday, 12/16: Taqueria Jaliscience
- Friday, 12/17: Wing Your Bell
Blood donation takes less than one hour to complete. Donors must be 18 years old, in good general health and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Donors who are 16 or 17 years old may donate, but must have written parental consent. Senior citizens are encouraged to donate, as there is no upper age limit. Donors should eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours prior to their donation. Donors can give blood every eight weeks. Photo ID is required at donor registration.
