(KMJ) – The United States Navy has identified the five sailors killed in a recent helicopter crash off the coast of San Diego. And, it confirms 29-year-old Oakhurst-native Bradley Foster was lost in the August 31st accident.
Foster was a 2009 graduate of Yosemite High and is survived by his wife and one-year-old daughter.
The Navy says the MH-60 Sea Hawk was taking part in flight operations off the deck of the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln at the time of the crash. The cause of this deadly accident remains under investigation.
