Fresno Man Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse Material: Investigators

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) — The Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (CC ICAC) have arrested a 56-year-old man after finding child sexual abuse material in his Fresno home.

According to the CC ICAC, Christopher Lee Wood was arrested on Tuesday, June 29, while at work in Madera and investigators served a warrant at his home.

He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. His bail was set at $40,000.

The CC ICAC says Wood was arrested in 2018 for the same crime. He was sentenced to probation and had to register as a sex offender, according to the CC ICAC.

Detectives say there is no information regarding Wood and physical contact with children.
