FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Police are asking for public to help find a man caught on video attacking and robbing a woman in central Fresno.
The attack was captured on video shot by a bystander – around 7:00 pm on Monday night.

The video shows the assault occurring at the intersection of Divisadero Street and Yosemite Avenue
A woman is heard yelling for the man to stop.
Her attacker tries to steal her purse and apparently hits the woman in the process.
Police say he ran off with the purse and the money inside – $650 dollars.
Detectives recovered the item but the search is on for the attacker.
