FRESNO, CA (KMJ) — A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition after she was hit by a car Friday afternoon in Fresno.
Fresno police say the woman in her 20s or 30s was hit in or near a crosswalk in the area Elm and California Avenues in South Fresno around 4:00 p.m.
They say she was suffering from head injuries.
Police say the driver did not stay at the scene to help the woman.
Police are looking for a white 4-door Kia Optima with front-end damage.
