FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A ceremony took place Tuesday as construction begins this week on a dangerous section of Highway 41.
Caltrans joined Central Valley leaders to announce the construction of a new concrete safety barrier on a 4.5 mile stretch of highway between Elkhorn and Excelsior.
Local lawmakers like Fresno Republican Assemblyman Jim Patterson have been urging Caltrans to work on the project.
The barrier will be competed in mid August.
