Fresno Police Trying To Find 41-Year-Old Man’s Killer

FRESNO, CA (KMJ ) – Fresno Police are looking for the person or people who gunned down a 41-year-old man, on Monday night.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Fernando Gonzalez.

Just before 10:00pm on September 28, Shot Spotter registered gunfire on the 4600 block of E. Washington Avenue, and Southeast District Patrol officers were dispatched to the location.

Officers arrived, and found Gonzalez, deceased near a vehicle.

He had been shot in the upper body.

Gonzalez was transported to CRMC but did not survive his injuries.

Homicide investigators believe that he was shot during a disturbance which broke out at a family function, and the suspect or suspects left the scene in at least one vehicle.

Detectives are actively working leads generated on this case but are asking anyone with information to please contact the Fresno Police Department.
