WINTON, CA (KMJ) – The search is on in Merced County for a man who is believed to be connected to the death of a woman.
The Merced County Sheriff’s Office considers the death of Tammy Balloue suspicious.
Deputies are searching for a 34-year-old man who was with her earlier in the day.
On Monday, deputies responded to a home on the 7900 Block of Olive Avenue in Winton for a report of an unresponsive woman.
Deputies found 41-year-old Balloue dead inside a bedroom.
Her car was missing from the driveway.
Investigators are looking for 34-year-old Jorge Luis Martinez and the missing car; a blue 2005 Lexus ES300 with the license plate: 8EPN-976.
If you see the car or know the whereabouts of Jorge Martinez
do not approach him but call 9-1-1.
