Fresno Unified Encourages Parents to Take Reopening Survey by June 11

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – As Fresno Unified works on its plan to safely reopen schools and best serve students, the district encourages parents to respond to its survey on the reopening of schools.

The safety and health of students, families, and staff are the highest priority for Fresno Unified as it develops a comprehensive reopening of schools plan in alignment with state and health guidelines.

The district understands the need to develop a strategic reopening plan that allows for flexibility as restrictions and parameters may change with limited notice.

Families’ input is essential in guiding developing plans.

The district has received about 7,500 responses, far short of the 33,000 responses it needs to provide a valid representation of opinion.

The survey closes on Thursday, June 11.

To respond to the survey, parents should go to their ATLAS parent portal or find the survey at fresnounified.org.

If parents are having trouble accessing the survey, they should call the COVID-19 Call Center at (559) 457-3395.
