FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Governor Gavin Newsom hosted a digital roundtable Wednesday morning with Californians who work in the fitness industry.
One gym owner on Zoom with the Governor was relaying the stress of closing down while waiting for Phase 3 of Newsom’s plan, calling the situation “desperate.”.
Participants were sharing how they’re how they are adapting their workplaces.
Gym owners Adam Attia and Franchesca Shuler answered the Governor’s questions, including what opportunities they see to reinvent their businesses.
Governor Newsom says that guidelines to reopen the fitness industry are coming in the next week or so.
