SACRAMENTO, CA (KMJ) – In his daily update on Tuesday, Governor Gavin Newsom announced he has launched new resources for Californians to regulate stress while abiding by the state’s ‘shelter at home’ order.
Gov. Newsom acknowledges the mental and physical effects of sheltering at home and he said the state has created help by phone with a hotline for domestic violence, elder abuse, LGBTQ issues and more with staff offering support in up to 170 languages.
Gov.Newsom said on the internet, the state offers resources on its COVID19.ca.gov website.
