FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A man is arrested after chasing three Central High students.
Early on Friday morning in the area near Princeton & Cornelia, Police said the students were chased by a stranger and one was tackled by him.
The school sent out the following alert:
Thankfully, the students found safety in the car of a good Samaritan. The Fresno Police Department immediately investigated, located and arrested the suspect. We’re grateful to our law enforcement for their quick response and arrest. Though this incident is very rare and unusual, we ask that students continue to travel with one or more trusted friends and stay in well-lit and well-traveled public places. Students should contact their parents, other responsible adults or 911 if they need help.
