FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A man said to be the mastermind of a deadly mass shooting at a backyard party in Fresno enters a not guilty plea.
Ger Lee appeared Tuesday, Feb 11, 2020 in Fresno County Superior Court.
He was supposed to be arraigned Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 after being extradited from Minnesota but the judge granted the defense’s request for more time.
Sherburne County Sheriff’s Deputies and members of the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Lee around 5:50 p.m. on New Year’s Eve in Big Lake Minnesota.
27 year-old Lee is one of the seven alleged Mongolian Boys Society gang members prosecutors say are connected to the shooting that left four men dead at the party back on November 17th.
Lee is charged with four counts of murder and 12 counts of attempted murder.
His bail remains just under 24 million dollars.
Court documents say Lee assigned Billy Xiong to be the driver and Anthony Montes and Porge Kue to be the gunmen.
All four suspects will be back in court in May for a pre-preliminary hearing.
