VISALIA, CA (KMJ) – A 35 year old woman is facing charges of elder abuse, kidnapping and auto theft.
Visalia Police were called Friday morning at 8:25am about someone trying to steal a car in the 1500 Block of West Victor.
When they arrived, officers found the vehicle was left running with a dependent adult passenger inside.
When the owner of the vehicle returned, she saw a woman driving off.
The owner was able to stop the vehicle and the woman ran off.
Officer located the woman nearby.
Jennifer Kristine House was arrested and booked for the charges.
