FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A preliminary 4.0 magnitude earthquake hit near Port Hueneme in Ventura County, the USGS says.
It happened around 2:13 a.m. Thursday.
There was also a preliminary 3.9 magnitude earthquake near Morgan Hill in Santa Clara County.
It hit at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday.
