FRESNO,CA (KMJ) – 65 year old Hans Lamaack was last seen in Fresno on August 30th.
Deputies and volunteers with the Fresno County Search and Rescue Team searched the wilderness for Lamaack, but could not find him.
The Sheriff’s Office was made aware that he was missing on September 24th when deputies found Lamaack’s car.
It was parked near Garnet Dike Campground, along the upper Kings River.
On Saturday, December 24th, a hunter walking in the area of the Garnet Dike Boat Launch found human remains.
The Coroner’s Office examined the body and confirmed that it was in fact Lamaack.
A cause of death has not been determined.
