TULARE, CA (KMJ) – Tulare Police are looking for a red sedan possibly involved in the shooting of 30 year-old.
On Thursday December 12, 2019 at approximately 9:16 p.m., a Tulare Police Officer was in the area of the 300 block of North “G” Street in Tulare on an unrelated call and reported hearing multiple gun shots. ]
Shortly after, the Tulare Police Department’s 9-1-1 center begun to receive multiple calls from citizens reporting to have heard gun shots in the same area.
Several callers also reported to have heard what sounded like someone yelling for help.
Officers’ arrived in the area and located a 30 year old victim near the intersection of Cross and “I” Street suffering from visible gunshot wounds.
The officers provided emergency aid to the victim until relieved by emergency personnel.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for further emergency care.
Because this is a violent crime, the victim’s name will not be released.
Detectives were on scene and are still following up on any possible leads.
The motive behind this crime is still being investigated.
