(KMJ) – The California Highway Patrol says the shooting of a 22-year old on Highway 41 near Dakota over the weekend appears to be gang-related.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, shots were fired into a car driving on the 41, striking the victim several times Officers say he was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center and is now recovering from surgery.
Now, the Highway Patrol says officers are now following up on leads regarding the suspect vehicle and shooter. But they ask anyone with information about this shooting to call the California Highway Patrol at (559) 262-0400.
