FRESNO COUNTY, CA (KMJ) – A suspect is arrested in Bakersfield in connection to double homicide in Fresno County more than a decade ago.
U.S. Marshals arrested 42-year-old Jose Zepeda Jr. on Tuesday at a Northwest Bakersfield home.
U.S. Marshals said the crime took place in 2008.
Parlier Police responded to gunshots fired at a party.
Witnesses told officers that two people had been killed after a fight broke out.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office took over the investigation.
Zepeda Jr. was identified as the shooter.
The U.S. Marshall’s Service said Zepeda Jr. was possibly living in Bakersfield, where he has family.
He was arrested, then taken to Fresno for court proceedings.
