(KMJ) – Hanford Police say a tip has lead to the arrest of a South Valley woman sought for the alleged murder of her newborn son.
25-year old Chelsea Becker was located around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning at a home on the 1000 block of Lark Street in Visalia. There, she was arrested, taken to the Kings County Jail, and booked for murder.
Becker was sought by Hanford Police after the Kings County Coroner informed investigators about the suspicious circumstances of a stillborn baby boy she delivered to a local hospital on September 10th. An autopsy of the fetus revealed toxic level of methamphetamine in the newborn’s system. And Becker, who has had multiple children removed from her custody in the past, admitted to law enforcement she used meth during her most recent pregnancy.
