(KMJ) – The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office confirms the two inmates who escaped from its jail over the weekend have been found and captured.
20-year old John Salazar and 21-year old Santos Fonseca were both being held on murder charges. The pair reportedly cut a hole in a bathroom ceiling and escaped the Monterey County Jail Sunday morning.
Wednesday morning, both men were found and captured by Customs and Border Protection.
