LEMOORE,CA (KMJ)- West Hills College was on lock down today after the Lemoore police department received a call of threats made to the school.
Officers were told the 18 year Benjamin Morehead sent a text message threatening to “shoot up” West Hills College. Moorehead was located a short time later in the area of 14th Avenue and Jackson Avenue by Kings County Sheriffs Office, where he was arrested without incident.
West Hills College was placed on lock down for approximately 25 minutes until Moorhead’s arrest.
After the arrest classes resumed as normal. Moorehead was booked into the Kings County Jail Terrorist Threats and is being held on $50,000 bail.
