FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno Republican Congressman Devin Nunes is making some moves in the courtroom.
Wednesday Nunes filed a lawsuit in Federal Court in Virginia against opposition research group Fusion GPS and the left-wing Campaign for Accountability, saying the two groups attempted to intimidate and harass him because of his investigation into the Fusion GPS Steele Dossier.
Nunes is asking for nearly $10 million in damages.
Meanwhile the case filed by Nunes against the handful of constituents who called his “farmer” ballot status into question appears to be history.
Brian Whelan, the lawyer for Paul Buxman, Hope Nisly, and Daniel O’Connell says the case was dropped by the Nunes campaign Tuesday.
