Detectives Say they’ve Arrested ‘Squaw Valley Serial Killer’

FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested 33 year-old Buford King of Squaw Valley and the Fresno County DA’s office filed three counts of murder against him. King’s bail is set at three million dollars.

“My dad was a good man, he was a hardworking man, and it’s sad that he had to meet such circumstances,” Brumley said.

Jessica Brumley’s father Donnie Lee was one of King’s alleged victims.

“We’ve prayed for a long time for closure, for justice to be served, and our God answers prayers,” Brumley said.

King is an army veteran who served in Iraq. He’s accused of killing 62 year-old Lee, 31 year-old Aleksey Shelist, both of Squaw Valley, and 51 year-old Alberto Contreras of Visalia.
