FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Unified released a second report Thursday, detailing an alleged threat to Bullard High School’s Assistant wrestling coach by District Trustee Terry Slatic.
On Thursday, Fresno Unified sent out an email saying that at last Thursday’s special board meeting, Fresno Unified Trustees approved in closed session to waive attorney-client privilege and release the two investigative reports involving Slatic.
The first report clears the embattled Fresno Unified Trustee of racial discrimination — but determined he violated a trio of board policies — during an encounter with an army recruiter earlier this year — at Bullard High School.

The second report made public on Thursday details a complaint by a walk-on wrestling coach who alleges Slatic – whose son is on the team – confronted the assistant coach on February 11, 2019.
In the report, the coach said Slatic was upset that Bullard’s wrestling team was participating in a joint practice with Clovis East High School, because his son was scheduled to compete at an upcoming match with a wrestler at Clovis East.
The report found that Slatic allegedly threatening the coach’s employment at the school.
Slatic had been banned from the Bullard High School campus.
Parents gathered at FUSD earlier in the month to say Slatic showed up to cheer practice on campus in early July and held held an impromptu meeting with the girls and their coaches, and threatened them, saying they’d be removed from the squad if they were to speak publicly about the two girls removed from cheer for their part in the inflammatory “blackface” video that surfaced in June.
