FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A body is found in a Los Banos canal on Wednesday.
The Merced County Sheriff’s Office was conducting the investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office says the body was located in the morning in the Delta Mendota Canal near Mercy Springs Road, according to the Sheriff’s Facebook page.
Detectives and the water rescue & recovery team were responding on scene.
They are in the beginning stages of the investigation.
