Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputy Arrested For Felony Domestic Violence

CLOVIS, CA (KMJ) – A Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy is arrested for domestic violence.

Clovis Police arrested 51-year-old David Raquenio on the felony charge on Monday.

He bonded out of the Fresno County Jail, the same day.

Fresno County Sheriff’s Spokesman Tony Botti confirmed that Raquenio is an employee.

He was part of a rescue in a remote area near Shaver Lake in January.

Raquenio was also honored as a Top Cop in 2016.

Botti says the Sheriff’s Office is “aware of his arrest.”

They are “taking appropriate action to deal with the matter,” Botti said.
