Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder in Lemoore


LEMOORE,CA (KMJ) – A woman is arrested for attempted murder in Lemoore.

Police say it happened Thursday after a domestic dispute at 150 S. 19th Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of people arguing at the front of the apartment complex.

They arrived and met with 37-year-old Farah Gonzalez, a man, and another woman.

After speaking with the three, as well as other witnesses, officers determined it was Gonzalez who had been in the argument with the man.

He told officers that during the argument, Gonzalez pulled out a gun, and hit him in the head with it several times.

She also grabbed his head and hit in on the floor of the apartment.

The victim went outside and Gonzalez followed him —standing in front of his car, and pointing the gun at him so he wouldn’t leave.

officers say the victim sustained minor injuries.

Gonzalez was arrested, and booked into the Kings County Jail for attempted murder, assault with a firearm, and with a deadly weapon, and domestic violence.

Her bail was set at $600,000.
