FRESNO (KMJ) — The third person involved in the Gavin Gladding hit and run, Fernanda Jakeline Lopez, has entered a no contest plea.
The move Monday morning inside Fresno County Superior Court was in response to the charges of accessory to the crime and destroying or concealing evidence. Her original not guilty plea was entered in October.
It follows the no contest pleas also entered by Moises Antonio Valdez-Guerreo (charged with accessory) and Rogelio Alvarez Maravilla (charged with hit and run resulting in permanent injury or death, click here to read more).
Fernanda Jakeline Lopez was 18 at the time of the crash which killed Clovis Unified educator Gavin Gladding in September. He was jogging in Fresno when he was struck.
