Merced Police Investigating Deadly Home Invasion

 

 

MERCED, CA (KMJ) – The Merced Police Department is investigating a deadly home invasion.

It happened Friday around 12:17 a.m. at a house on Tucolay Court.

According to police, when officers got to the house, they found a man in his 30’s inside the house.

The man had gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police that a group of men entered the house, injuring the man, then stole items from inside the house.

Police say it’s too early to determine if the case is drug and/or gang related.
