FRESNO (KMJ) — After a devastating fire just under two years ago, popular Fresno restaurant Livingstone’s has set a day for its reopening.
According to the Tower District Marketing Committee’s Director Daniel Renteria, the eatery will resume operations Wednesday, December 5th.
“I understand through a reliable source that they’re having an opening tomorrow, which is of course December 5th. That’s the date they were shooting for and I think it’s going to happen.”
A fire tore through the building in December 2016 causing more than $400,000 worth of damage. The business was given the green light by the City of Fresno last week, following a “safe to occupy” notice being granted.
“I would say that it really is adding to the business and commerce in that particular area, so I think it’s going to be very healthy for the Tower District,” added Renteria.
