Blink 182, Nelly Cancel Concerts

FRESNO, CA (KMJ)  Rockers Blink 182 have canceled their fall tour due to drummer Travis Barker’s medical issues. In a statement issued on Twitter, the band wrote, “Trav’s medical team anticipated that he would be well enough by fall to tour but after recent checkups they were not able to clear him in time for the scheduled run of dates.”

Blink 182 was set to open its fall tour at the Surf Ranch Pro this weekend in Lemoore.  Social Distortion will now headline the WSL show.  Surf Ranch Pro is offering ticket refunds via email: [email protected] by 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

The Fresno Grizzlies announced Friday that its concert with hip-hop stars Nelly and Fat Joe has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. The event was scheduled as part of a tour stop at Chukchansi Park.

“We were hopeful for a good event but understand the industry demands and the time commitment for artists. We also realize how difficult it is working a busy travel schedule and would entertain the possibility of a future Nelly concert at Chukchansi Park” said Derek Franks, Fresno Grizzlies team president in a news release.

Tickets purchased at www.fresnogrizzlies.com or at the team’s ticket office will be refunded at the box office or online, or by calling 559-320-8497
