MADERA (KMJ) — The search is on for a pair of suspects who are alleged to have stabbed a man in the leg during an armed robbery.
Madera County Sheriff’s Office first responded to a home near Club Drive and Road 26 at around 1.30am Friday. Deputies were told by two men that they were held at gunpoint by two other men, and robbed outside a business close to Avenue 17 and Road 26.
“No identification of the suspects have been made at this point,” said Kayla Serrato with Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
“We have the description…and deputies and detectives are following up on leads.”
The suspects are described as two adult men, possibly Hispanic or black, who drove away in a white older model Mitsubishi sedan.
“I would not suggest approaching them. We don’t have much information other than witness statements and, given than the two victims were robbed at gunpoint and one of them was stabbed, I would consider that they are armed.”
Anyone with information which could help investigators is asked to call Valley Crime Stoppers on 888-498-STOP.
