SACRAMENTO (KMJ) — A Canadian skier, reported missing from a resort in New York state, has been found in California.
New York State Police announced Tuesday that Constantinos “Danny” Filippidis had reached out to police in Sacramento. It came after he was reported to have disappeared from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort on February 7th, after traveling there from Toronto.
The 49 year old’s discovery puts an end to a multi-agency search involving both federal and state officials. Officials say the circumstances of the case are now under investigation.
