FRESNO (KMJ) — A bid to impeach President Donald Trump, funded by California billionaire Tom Steyer, has received a response from the Commander in Chief himself.
“[He has been] fighting me and my Make America Great Again agenda from beginning,” writes President Trump on Twitter.
“Never wins elections.”

The national campaign was unveiled a week ago, with Steyer announcing he would put at least $10 million of his own money into a television campaign to remove the President of the United States from office.
“He’s brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice at the FBI, and in direct violation of the constitution he’s taken money from foreign governments and threatened to shut down news organizations that report the truth,” says Steyer in the advertisement.
“If that isn’t a case for impeaching and removing a dangerous President, then what has our government become?”
Steyer is asking viewers to contact their members of Congress to bring articles of impeachment.
Political acts not a new endeavor for Steyer, with previous efforts focused on stopping climate change.
