Robbery & Assault with a Deadly Weapon Suspect

On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at approximately 15:56 hours Fresno Police officers responded to the victim’s residence for a reported robbery and assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, officers located two victims and took their statements. Victim #1 advised that he just got out of school at Central High East Campus and was walking to his mother’s car. Suspect Jermaine Ramsey Pinson was the passenger of a car that pulled up next to him as he walked. Suspect Pinson pointed a small black semi-automatic handgun at Victim #1 and pulled a gold chain from the victim’s neck and took the victim’s backpack. Victim #2 saw his friend in trouble and pulled his car up next to him to help. Suspect Pinson pointed the gun at Victim #2 and said, “Do you want some of this?” Victim #2 stopped and watched Suspect Pinson get back into his car and flee the scene. Suspect Pinson is believed to be hiding somewhere in the Fresno area.
