FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Demolition is underway at Haron Jaguar and Land Rover in Downtown Fresno.
Haron Jaguar is re-building a 43,000 square foot state of the art showroom, more than 3x its current size in the same location at Ventura and L street.
“We’ve been in the downtown area since 1945. My Grandfather started in the same piece of property that we’re going to build on. You know, downtown has helped us, I mean, we’re the number one Jaguar dealer in the country per capita. So to accomplish something like that, our location seems to be great for the Central Valley in general, especially with all the freeways that are merging at this location.” – Randy Haron, GM and Owner, Haron Jaguar.
Randy Haron, the General Manager and Owner of Haron Jaguar, says it’s been a family affair for 72 years.
“It was grandfather that started, then my uncle, and now my uncle and myself, and his daughter, my cousin, are business partners.”
As for the date of completion? Haron is crossing his fingers…
“We have a date of 12 months and that’s a hopeful date, so we’ll see, you know, now that it’s half down, I’m starting at it right now as we speak -you know it can’t be done fast enough.” – Randy Haron, GM and Owner, Haron Jaguar.
